ABB signs MOU with Hyflux for joint technology collaboration

ABB and Hyflux to collaborate on energy efficiency technology and solutions.

Singapore, June 23, 2009 – ABB, the leading power and automation technology group, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hyflux Limited, a leading environmental solutions company, for a joint technology collaboration.

The MOU was signed by Hyflux Limited’s Group Deputy CEO and CFO Sam Ong, and ABB Singapore President and Country Manager James Foo at the Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) 2009, which took place at Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The signing of the MOU signifies ABB's and Hyflux’s desire to enhance collaboration and mutual benefits by using ABB’s latest energy efficient technology and solutions in the areas of Reverse Osmosis membrane optimizing and monitoring system, as well as pump efficiency performance management.
