2009-05-06: ABB booth won the ""Best futuristic design" award at the second Sea Asia exhibition held at Suntec City convention centre.
ABB showcased technologies in electric power and propulsion systems, drilling drive systems and services, turbocharging diesel and gas engines, and climate systems, that help improved reliability, increase industrial productivity and save energy for customers in the shipping and marine industry.
ABB also gave a 30-minute presentation on "Influence on fuel consumption and emissions" by Markus Rupp, deputy general manager for ABB marine, at the exhibition.
