TPL..-A: The 4-stroke powerpack

The TPL..-A turbocharger is designed for modern four-stroke medium to large diesel and gas engines with outputs of 2,500 kW to 12,500 kW.

Features:
  • Radial compressor with backswept blades; different trims available
  • High-performance axial turbine with different stagger angles and trims; with lacing wire
  • Free-floating axial bearing disc; radial bearing bushes with squeeze oil damper
  • Bearing assembly lubricated by engine lube oil system
  • Oil inlet and outlet at bottom
  • Turbine and compressor cleaning possible
  • Bearings, rotor, turbine diffuser and nozzle ring dismantled from compressor side
  • No water cooling
  • Variable positioning of casing and flanges
  • Variable turbine geometry as option
  • Comprehensive qualification test program, including containment test
